The robotics cup

 Going to la Ferté Bernard
It's been 4 years since the French Robotics Cup (and now Eurobot) takes place in the town of la Ferté Bernard.
  La Ferté Bernard
Located in the Sarthe French departement near le Mans, la Ferté Bernard has 9200 inhabitants and organises an Art and Technologies festival where the robotics competition takes place.

 Where the competition takes place
The robotics Cup takes place in the town's sport center. We present here the layout of the previous years. Of course, everything may not stay identical this year!
  The premises
the premises

What is the use of each building?
  • COSEC
ANSTJ and la Ferté reception, stands, one probation area and breakfast refectory.
  • Athéna
Stands, exhibits for the ARTEC festival and outside the building a tent where teams can do their cooking.
  • Olympe
The amphitheatre where the matchs take place.
  The stands
Stands rooms are divided in areas occupied by 2 teams. Each team has an area of approximatively 5m2 with a power point, 1 1/2 table, 3 chairs and 2 trash bags.
Watch the equipment you bring, there is not much room! And if you want to bring your own playing ground to practice, warn the ANSTJ before because you may not have enough room for it. In any case, it will have to be at team's disposal.

One other constraint : the robotics Cup is part of a festival where the public is admitted. Therefore you must be carefull that nothing dangerous stays in the stands without supervision (compressed air, soldering iron, ...) and try to keep your stand tidy (even if it is difficult after 3 sleepless nights...) ! :-)
